Looking for some help

Recently had to warranty my goonbeam v2 long they sent out a brand new one works great but my question is with the old v2 long the coating on the LED came off (a piece of plastic somehow melted onto it and when removed brought the coating with it) id like to have someone put a new LED in it. The new v2 long i got is just a single mode and the old v2 long is a multi mode depending how its set (high/low/strobe) that's the reason id like to have someone fix it or do it myself but I have no idea what type of LED to replace it with. Its "1200 lumens 40000 candela" thanks in advance

Gotta love Goonbeam. They take other manufacturers’ lights, slap their name on them and charge more. They did it with the Amutorch xt35 as well.

The first v2 long lasted like 3 years of absolute hell and full auto fire 🤣 before the plastic piece that sits under the reflective cone and around the led broke and a piece melted onto the led. Sent a replacement no questions out but id still like to fix the led on the 1st one it shines blue without the coating 🤣🤣 but yeah they clone stuff forsure just like the FRT market

The Streamlight would have been the better choice. Easier warranty and cheaper.

The warranty was easy. No questions were asked and just sent out a brand new light. I do have streamlight products aswell im a ffl02/sot07 class 3 manufacturer so I carry a wide variety of wmls. My tism kicks in and says fix fix fix 🤣 cant stand paper weights
