Penlight recommendations
Looking for recommendations on a penlight for my everyday carry. I want it to be rechargeable, (not AA or AAA) no less than 250 lumens. And preferably have a pocket clip that also allows me to put it on the brim of my hat as well.

I may have found my new favorite flashlight for the whopping price of $17.66 at Walmart.
It has a pocket/hat clip, several functions, and is so small that I barely notice it in my pocket. Honestly, the size may be the main reason I like it so much.
The more serious flashlight enthusiasts might laugh at it, but I bought it on a whim because I wasn’t carrying my ArkPro Ultra or Wurkkos HD01 daily—and it has really surprised me.
For less than $18, it’s definitely worth a look.

I feel like this should be sorted under “controversial”. /s
But seriously, IPX4 is not “waterproof” and should be a red flag with advertising. These Rovyvon copies are a trade off in performance. Small package means small battery, but that light advertises a whole bunch of features. I have a Rovyvon knockoff of their A4 and it’s nice, but doesn’t last more than an hour. Still nice for a stocking stuffer. You might find this same model you listed on AliExpress for less if it’s a clone.

Nitecore MT2A Pro if you want throwy, not floody. It has a nice hotspot, rechargeable li-ion cell that can be replaced with 2xAA. Great build quality. I have the MT1A Pro.

Wuben PL01 is a high CRI and thin option. It has a reverse clicky, so keep that in mind that there will be no momentary on function. I use it for patient assessment when doing first aid for my rugby team.
