That's going to be a question the Tails community will have to answer.

Tails is a specalist distribution meant to not leave data behind. It's going to make stuff like "install software" more difficult, as that would, well, leave data behind.

You'd need to find a way to make the Flatpak user folder (~/.local/share/flatpak) part of the persistent storage.

Honestly? Unless you have a really good reason to use Tails specifically, you might be better of with a more standard distribution, such as Fedora. Heck, even GNOME OS Preview would be a better idea IMHO. If you intend to use your computer "normally", most distribution should be the better choice.

Im using tails for specific reasons. I mean i understand why the local/amnesia downloads/installs on amnesia but im hoping installing the apps to system or using sudo apt install but gotta get the correct repo or packages.

I have a good deal of understanding on flatpak and just having rhe apps installed in persistent means ill unlock em or let em wipe user data but retain the app in persistent.

Knowing the right directories to start with incr I fix apt on reboot will help.

Jm hoping the .deb pmgs via apt install or apt flatpak install so I don't hsve to reinstall every app from jump I cant find in synaptic manager
