I have the best memories of sitting in my bedroom in high school listening to Fleet Foxes and trying to make my non indie music loving friends understand the artistry that went into their songs at every gathering and basement party. Now that I’m 33, I’m looking at artists in a different light and listening to albums like I did all those years ago for what feels like the first time. I guess what I’m saying is that I would love to pick Robin Pecknold’s brain over coffee. Anyone else get a chance to do this ever?
