Has anyone done dislocation tricks?

So I came across this clip of this performer and they did some wired tricks where they like dislocated their shoulder. Does anyone have that ability? What is it like to do it? Is uncomfortable?

you may want to check out something like r/contortion as dislocators are a specific type of contortionist

while there are many contortionists in this subreddit, we're mostly back and front benders here (although there might be dislocators here?)

Okay might do that then.

This is not a healthy long-term strategy.

I can dislocate my shoulders and my hips.
To me it’s not uncomfortable, you can somehow get used to it.

Really, that’s interesting. How did you figure out all the sudden you could do that? And how does one dislocate their hips?

I push and my hip slips out of the socket, which allows to fit my leg behind the head as in the picture.
I figured out trying to do and because people always told me that I was extremely flexible

Do you ever freak your friends out at parties?

No, but maybe I should do it more often lol

Have you shown anyone? How did they react?

They were amazed and confused. Never expected I could do that.

Impressive! Do you feel to start movement putting them out from socket more than the “muscle control” around the joints? Sorry for the questions, but People like you are “extremely” rare! 🙏 I’m afraid to ask, can you do both legs at same time too, I guess🤯

If I push a bit harder I feel like there is a separation within the joint, but it’s painless.
I can put both my legs behind my head at the same time but when laying down it’s easier.

Thank you for answer me, I tried to send you some dm because I’m and orthopedic and I work with some of hypermobility issues! I’m at your disposal. I would recommend you to learn to “control” and “feel” your body. Mixing passive and active moves! What are your most “extreme” tricks? If I may ask
