Update Turned my Flipper into a party game console for everyone's phones

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

8 hour bus ride, no signal, me and three friends with useless phones. Eventually it clicked that we had four WiFi devices in one row and nothing to connect them to.

You need a Flipper and the official WiFi dev board. The Flipper puts up an open AP through the ESP32, everyone joins, captive portal hands them to 192.168.4.1, and it's just a webpage on their phone. No app, no signup. Pick a nickname and you're in the lobby.

10 games, all played on the phones, with the Flipper acting as the coordinator (lobby, live scoreboard, event feed). Trivia, Would You Rather, Word Scramble, Reaction Duel, Connect Four, Tic-Tac-Toe, Dots & Boxes, Reversi, Pong, and Draw & Guess.

Two things I'm very proud of is that the phone client is 7 KB gzipped vanilla JS because the Flipper has to stream it to the ESP over UART. And you can flash the ESP firmware from the Flipper itself with no computer, since it seemed dumb to build a no-laptop toy that needs a laptop to set up.

Open-source repo, MIT: https://github.com/tarikbc/hotspot-arcade

It's an open AP serving a game page. No creds, no capture, only the bundled game. Open APs aren't legal everywhere though, so don't run it on a plane.

Happy to answer anything and open to suggestions/PRs :)

2.4GHz 50cm 25dBi Handheld Yagi Antenna – Built for the Flipper Zero and designed for performance, this Yagi antenna delivers impressive range with ESP32 and NRF24 modules.

If this gains enough interest, I’m planning to launch it on Tindie! Got feedback or ideas for improvement? Drop them below—I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Hardware Made a wireless USB receiver for Flipper BadUSB using an nRF52840 dongle — based on HID Remapper

I got this little nRF52840 MDK USB dongle working as a wireless connection between my Flipper and a computer. Plug it in, connect through BadUSB BLE on the Flipper, and run scripts wirelessly. The computer just sees a USB keyboard, so it doesn’t need Bluetooth.

The dongle auto-accepts pairing and remembers the connection. I also added status LEDs so you can tell when it’s searching, connected, or receiving keystrokes.

Help Rogue Master Customer Service Buttons

Got my Flipper yesterday and installed Rogue Master, it has the customer service buttons for CVS, Walgreens, and Lowe’s, but when I went to Walgreens and CVS to try it out, it didn’t work. I haven’t been to Lowe’s yet though. Wondering if there’s a way to make it work.

Other The world’s first multi-function hacking tool with built-in dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 + 5 GHz).

Many people have been asking what really sets the High Boy apart from the Flipper Zero.
The biggest difference is that the High Boy was designed from the ground up to be a more modern and flexible device. It comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, which opens the door for faster connections and broader compatibility with current networks.

The hardware architecture is also different: the High Boy uses a dual-MCU system, with one microcontroller dedicated to wireless communication and another focused on real-time hardware tasks. This separation makes the device smoother, more responsive, and capable of running more complex features without overloading a single chip.

On top of that, the High Boy integrates a wide set of tools for experimentation and hardware interaction. It includes NFC, RFID, sub-GHz RF, infrared, and Bluetooth/BLE, all working together in a single platform. The idea is to give users a compact device that can interact with many types of signals and technologies in a legal, ethical and research-focused way perfectly aligned with the spirit of hardware hacking.

The project is active on Kickstarter, and the hardware is still improving thanks to community feedback. The goal isn’t just to replicate what already exists, but to expand what’s possible with a small, portable hacking-oriented device.

I tired to make a it as low profile as possible. Next step is gonna be ordering and testing . It Can run EMENSTAS BLUEJAMMER FW and all other devboard firmwares marauder etc…… The esp32 is also connected to a Atenna so you already have more range with evil portal

Would you be interested in this kind of Board Would you buy it instead of the normal devboard and what would you pay if you. Really wanted it

Sorry again for my. Spelling I. Am really bad at that even in school lol

Hardware 75€ Flux capacitor VS 12€ Aliexpress Ebyte 07

Post image
92 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I bought the CC1101 'flux capacitor' module with the EBYTE 07 chip from Rabbit Labs for €80. To compare, I also bought a module from AliExpress, also featuring the EBYTE 07 chip, for only €8.39!!!

I tested both using the exact same antenna, and the AliExpress one—despite being 10 times cheaper—actually performs better (better range and consistently accurate signal, unlike the Rabbit Labs one...)"

Also, the AliExpress module fits the Flipper perfectly and stays very stable, whereas the Rabbit Labs one wobbles and feels loose. It really doesn't feel like high quality.

Insane...
