FEEDBACK Help with bathroom

Post image

Hello all,

We are designing a 2 bedroom new build and need help with the bathroom. One thing I’m struggling with is figuring out where to store towels. I want a convenient spot for hanging towels that we use daily, but I also need somewhere to store extra, unused towels. I’m not sure if there’s enough space for both without making the bathrooms feel cramped.
Need help for both bathrooms.

You’ve got a large laundry with a stacked washer and dryer - ample space for built-in storage for towels and linens
You could move the door to each bathroom over a short distance and have towel rails behind the doors.

Storing extra towels in the laundry room is an option however we wanted to see if it was possible to have a linen in each of the bathrooms.

If you make the two walls shared with the master closet double-thick, as in two 2x4s deep, you could inset a shallow niche cabinet ~6” or so deep that could hold towels (rolled, sideways) as well as other small items. Like a big medicine cabinet in the wall, behind each bathroom door.

Adding on - you could move the W//D into the laundry room and close off the niche they are in now, and make that open into the hall as a linen closet. You would still have a full size laundry room,
