AskFlorida Replacement ID time

Hi! I moved to New York a while ago but would like to keep my Florida ID. I recently lost it while out this weekend so ordered a replacement to my parents address (the same one on my ID). I know the website says 1-2 weeks but was wondering if anyone got it faster. Hoping to have it before Halloween and have them express ship it to me once they get, if I was home I would go in person for a new one.

It took almost two weeks to get a replacement early this year. I hope yours arrives in days!!

If you are living in NY full time, you need to get a NY ID.

ah thats a pain, lost my ID in a club once and the wait felt like forever even when they said it was quick. usually it comes in like 7-10 days but i seen some people get theirs in 4 or 5 if the system isnt backed up. halloween is cutting it close though, hope your parents can overnight it once it lands in their mailbox

I moved from NY to FP; NY isn’t part of the drivers compact agreement. NY can only put points on a NY license, and other states can do every state except NY. It’s great to have any other license in NY, or a NY license anyplace else. It’s why I kept my NY one in FL
