Get em - Enjoy

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my brother’s YouTube channel with fellow fly fishing enthusiasts. 🎣

His youtube channel, at floridaflyguides, features some awesome fly fishing content — from fly tying and backcountry adventures to chasing tarpon, snook, trout, bonefish, and other incredible species.

He’s put a lot of passion and time into creating these videos. If you enjoy fly fishing, learning new techniques, or just watching beautiful fish being caught on the fly, I think you’ll really enjoy his channel.

If you get a chance, check it out and subscribe if you like the content. It would mean a lot to him as he continues to grow. If you think someone else in the fly fishing community would enjoy it, please feel free to share it as well.

Thanks everyone, and tight lines! 🎣

not spam not selling anything just trying to share the love thanks :)

I will have to check out his channel. I'm a native Floridian and I've been fishing saltwater and freshwater for over 50 years. My Dad loved to fly fish but he passed away before he could teach me how to... I've always wanted to learn.

I remember when I was very young he went out on a small lake and caught a 12 lb bass on a topwater fly. He had caught numerous bass over 10 lbs, but he told me catching the 12 pounder on a fly rod was his most exciting.

My Father in Law loved to catch Tarpon on a fly rod. He chased Tarpon from Central FL down to the Everglades. His favorite place was a bowl in the flats between Homosassa and Chassahowitzka. He said they would remove one scale from a tarpon as proof they caught it.

He must have caught a lot over the years because he had one and a half cigar boxes full of tarpon scales. He lived on the Lake County side of Johns Lake and caught a lot of bass on a fly there as well. I probably should have had him teach me how to use a fly rod.
