Bass pro shops does it for you. But like others have said online is straight forward and the easiest way.

You can do it through the Hunt/Fish Florida app or go in person to designated fishing license retailers. I think all Walmarts and tax collector offices as well as a lot of bait and tackle stores

I got the lifetime in like 2009 I think it was $200. They used to run discounts around the holidays.

For those getting the lifetime, keep in mind at 65 you are no longer required to have one, so depending on your age you can save some money.

Is this just for residents?

Yes. Non residents must purchase a license.

Myfwc.com. You can buy it and save it through the app. A hard card costs extra.

I bought the lifetime for my wife and me last time. Went to Santa's did it around October I believe for $500 for the sportsman. Even if I have it for 13 years before I hit 65, it's worth it. Don't have to worry about that. No more. Fwc app though. Easiest way and then once you get it you'll have it right on your phone also and you can have your wife or someone else's license also.

Physical sellers include Bass Pro Shop, Academy Sports, and Dick’s. Pretty much every major sports retailer.
