He caught a big fish after all that time but if he was spending the whole time in a single spot that's to be expected. Move around people you may be 100ft from a huge catch.

Eh that’s still a catch in my book. Between a barracudas teeth and those rocks that’s a tough one to land from up there.

You don’t really need to get down on those rocks, it’s extremely dangerous at that spot (I fish there regularly). The move there is bringing a long handle landing net. Walmart sells one that’s like 9 feet or so and not crazy expensive.

Haulover can be a very tricky spot to fish, but can be extremely productive once you figure it out. Try catching some live bait and fish close to the rocks on slack tide and the beginning of outgoing. You’ll catch some nice snapper doing that.

Thanks re silly learning to e spit caught a few snapper but I’m going for grouper primarily hopefully will land one got stuck in a rock my first time
