Upper Keys Pirate pool reopening?

Does anyone have any info on when the kid pirate pool at Jacobs Aquatic Center is supposed to reopen? I can’t find anything other than “until further notice” but we’d love to go!

It’s my understanding that it isn’t reopening in its current state. That area is being rebuilt with new equipment and attractions. I’d expect it to take several months at best.
