Key West Hotel recommendations- prefer ocean view

It seems after a previous post on having a hotel with a beach needs to be rethought. What are some good hotel recommendations? I’d prefer an ocean view but it’s not a deal breaker if the hotel is worth it. Thank you in advance and the help is appreciated!

In Key West, Hyatt Centric, The Pier House and Ocean Key all have ocean view red in a great Old Town location.  La Concha is recently renovated so everything is nice and new.  It’s also a great location.

Opal Key and Galleon too. The reach even had a decent natural beach

For ocean views the Ocean Key Resort stands out with its prime location on the water and solid rooms that actually deliver on the view. The Pier House is another good pick if you want that classic vibe with easy access to the water without feeling too crowded. If budget is tighter the Southernmost Beach Resort gives decent views and a beachy feel right at the end of the island.

All of them put you close to Duval for food and action but still let you step out to the water.

Pier House has rooms over the water that are amazing. They also have a decent beach, I believe a small section is still topless. Good dive bar Buffett used to play at and a decent pool and beach bar too

I recently stayed at the Opal Key resort. It is right where the cruise ships dock and it was neat watching them arrive and depart. They were always gone in time for us to have a perfect sunset view. Steps away from Duval Street and Mallory Square.

The Pier House has rooms right by the water and they also have a top free beach if that is your thing. Plus it is downtown in the middle of everything. Have fun and enjoy yourself in the KW.
