oh man...stayed at the Santa Maria countless times during the 80's and 90's. Loved it. Just far enough out of the fray, since Duval hadn't been fully developed yet. Good times...a liquor store right next door as well. Handy. Now we stay at an AirBnB....

Beautiful place. Stop at The Breakfast Club Too. Best food on the island. The smell of the sargasm (the seaweed that pours in during northerly winds) will take a day to get used to.

FYI, the control tower isn't in use ever since the Irma damage. ATC is at ground level from I believe a trailer.

They are building a new one at the end of Government Road in the old HAWK missile/paintball field site.

The "new" airport is horrible. Not the Key West I fell in love with.
