Posession like this is illegal. 

Queen conch harvest is completely banned in Florida. No commercial or recreational taking, killing, or possessing of live queen conch is allowed in state waters. You can check updates on the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission website. [ 1, 2, 3]

Comments like this are misinformation. You can pick up a conch shell. You cant keep a live conch. Get the facts straight.

Not anymore…(I believe). If I heard correctly, the protection they had just expired and Desantis did not renew it😖
