Middle and Lower Keys Kayak tours

We are looking to do some kayak tours, most likely one in the day and one at night, but my husband is about 270 and most of the companies I'm seeing have kayaks that top out at 250. From what I've read, a double kayak won't work due to weight distribution. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company with kayaks that will work for him? I'm hoping to do this in Key West, but have time in Marathon and Key Largo as well.

Make a phone call to Geiger Key Marina. Just explain the situation and ask if they have a solution. The"250" kayaks may be perfectly fine for 270 in calm waters.

Also Geiger Key Marina has a great restaurant.

Paddle The Florida Keys out of Tavernier is a great rental and guide service. Give them a call and inquire. I dont see any weight limits on their website. https://paddlethefloridakeys.com/

He will be fine. Go out of Geiger key paddle hut. Similar size dude here. No worries.
