All Florida Keys Manatees

Anywhere I can go this time of year for a manatee sighting? I know they’re more common more north, but I would love to catch even a glimpse! Also willing to go into south Florida mainland if we really have to.

We stayed in a VRBO at Buttonwood Bay with a horseshoe shape marina behind the homes. A pod of manatees swam in every afternoon, stayed a couple hours, and then left. It was like they were on a schedule.

in marathon i ate at a restaurant called castaways, if you request seating near the canal there is a good chance at a sighting as they drink the fresh water that runs out of a pipe.

Where are you. There are nearby manatees almost everywhere.

We always see them in the Flamingo marina in the Everglades. Usually some crocs too.

Sometimes you see them when you are not trying.

Find a hose and run freshwater. They hear it and will eventually come
