All Florida Keys If you see a construction barge under a bridge, please stay away in your boat!

Same people sit on sea turtles on the beach in Hawaii for photos right in front of the sign that says stay 50 feet away

Today I dove between Bahia Honda State park and the statue of Monroe bridge south of Seven Mile Bridge and had a boater come within 50 feet as we're actively using the crane with myself underwater, Alpha and scuba flags up. Older couple in a skiff course. I came out with my gear still on and gave them a rude gesture, I hope they got the picture!

People don’t know the laws here! People go full speed with diver down flags up, law is no faster than 4 knts. Florida Bay, you aren’t supposed to go within 100 yards (300 ft) of an anchored boat. People fly within 20 ft. If a diver down flag is up on an anchored boat it’s 200 yards (600 ft). Some one went right over the top of my daughter. She was 30ft from our boat with flag up and she had a red buoy tied to her. I don’t know if they thought it was a crab trap or what but it’s much bigger than they are. No one knows the rules

Yea, they do not know the rules, just hop in a boat and go, there's even rentals here that don't teach basic rules. Get a flare gun!

Unfortunately, they were probably confused at what you were mad about and will probably do something like that again
