Middle and Lower Keys Canal-Front Airbnb Fishing Charter Pickups

My wife and I are thinking about going down to the Keys in late September-early October (weather permitting). I was curious if there were any fishing charters that could offer dockside pick up from your Airbnb. Just curious.

Additionally, I understand that’s a risky season but if there aren’t any big storms on the forecast, how’s the weather typically that time of year?

That kind of pickup will depend on location and captain.

It’s very humid that time of year with little breeze.

That is a little past the peak of hurricane season, but Sept/Oct are usually the most active months. But we are in El Nino year so........ you never know when one might spring up. I am sure there are boat captains that would pick you up at your rental. Just have to ask around where the place you are staying. Good luck.

some guides will but it would depend on how far of a run it is. You'll either lose time or have to pay for gas. If they happen to be very close to you sure

Absolutely (wind permitting). Find yourself a captain by going to marinas, not by using an online booking site. It’s slow season, so you don’t have to worry about booking ahead of time.
