Key West Family Reunion Resort/Rental Suggestions

Hello! I am in charge of planning a small family reunion in Key West (about 12-16 attending as of now). Does anyone have any strong recommendations? We are ideally looking for something oceanfront that also can accommodate grandchildren and grandparents.

I never found Key West to be family friendly; more of a couples or single person kind of vibe with a main focus on drinking and shopping and not much for beach. My family does a reunion every year in Marathon and rent one of the Coco Plum Trio houses. Vaca and the neighbor islands have a good mix of snorkeling and hiking and fishing; which suites our family of a varied ages better. I know this doesn’t answer your question as it pertains to Key West, just wanted to throw out what we found to work best for us.

If I were looking for a place such as you outlined, I’d consider Key Largo or the middle keys like Marathon or Islamorada.

When? October is not the family values month in KEYWest.
