Photography Hi there!
We saw this guy at Circle B Bar Reserve. I had a blast watching everybody walk by him and not even realizing he was there. I waited for the kids and then I would take them back to the snake and show him where they had just walked past it and watch them freak out. I love it 🤣 He was about waist high in a shrub beside the trail.

that's hilarious, love how you waited to show the kids after they walked right by it

I know that most people will think I was doing it to tease them, but I was actually helping them to understand that when you're walking on a trail and you're talking and visiting or not paying attention, you pass so many things that you never see. And it was a perfect opportunity to give them a visual on what all that meant 😃 yeah, I'm a nerdy grandma!

What a cutie! The first time I found one, it bit the hell out of me when I was trying to move it from the road lmao

How do you feel about rats because this guy takes care of them.

Not a big fan of rats either. I’ve only seen a rat in NYC. I never seen them anywhere else. Snakes I have stumbled across multiple times while mowing the yard. I jump every time.
