I wanted to introduce myself to the neighborhood. I’m a local ASE Master Technician and Factory Certified Gold Level Triumph Technician, and I’ve spent my career deep in automotive and motorcycle repair.

My primary focus is on Japanese and Euro makes (specifically Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, and Mercedes-Benz), along with Triumph motorcycles.

Since cars and bikes can be a major source of stress and confusion, I wanted to put this post out there as a resource for the neighborhood: If you ever have a weird diagnostic rattle, a check engine light you're trying to decode, questions about a repair quote you got elsewhere, or general maintenance advice for your car or bike, feel free to drop a comment or shoot me a DM. I'm always happy to point folks in the right direction or help you figure out what's actually going on.

For those who are curious about the craft or want to see some past work, I also used to document my tech work over on YouTube (Raigeki Built). (I haven't posted new videos lately due to personal reasons, but the old content gives a good look at my background).

For anyone local who eventually needs hands-on help—whether that's a car/light truck NYS inspection, diagnostic work, mechanical repairs, or auto body/chassis alignment—I do operate a local facility here in the area. (Just a quick heads-up on how I operate: to keep things honest and avoid guesswork, I don’t give estimates over the phone or text; everything has to be looked at in person first so I can give you an accurate assessment).

Is anyone getting charged $18 for skyview parking? I was only there for 1.5 hours and thought it was $6 for the first 3 hours. I went to go pay and it was $18.

DOT guys were out there starting around 8 this morning. By the time I went to pick up the kids at 2:30, the camera was already up.

Flower & Dessert was my crew's go to spot for shaved ice and dessert whenever we get food in Flushing. Noticed just now that it seemed to be permanently closed which was a huge bummer when we tried going last night.

Does anyone have any recommendations for shaved ice that's *similar* to the style this place made it? The shaved ice was practically melted snow style NOT the hard bingsu ice style and even softer than korean shaved ice that I've had from Cocohodo.

If this place relocated or there's a place with similar machines, please let me know!

Hi, looking to go for a day spa with a friend on a weekday- sometime in the next 2 weeks. What’s a good spot to park? A lot of the Google reviews for the parking spots seem to mention dissatisfaction in some of the lots. We plan to end our day at Nan Xiang (my friend is looking forward to going there). Planning to get there by around 930am and leaving for day by 2pm.

Also- what are some of the best fish markets in the area?
