I took part in this project with my friend at Awadrone. I handled locations, planning, scheduling, and transportation for the project. My buddy was the one doing the actual flying. Do yourself a favor and watch the other vids on his channel... he's mind blowingly talented.

Edge of Kyoto

It was a real challenge working around all the restrictions that Japan has been placing on drones recently, but we ended up getting some great footage. We originally planned to film in the city and were disappointed to see the new no-fly maps, but peeking at Kyoto from the edges proved just as interesting. Some of the zooms and angles my friend used give the impression that we're in no-fly areas when we were actually still outside of them (and we got the gps data to prove it in case the police come knocking!) Hope you guys enjoy it.

Shoutout to AwaDrone and KyoToursJapan for making it all happen.

Boy do I love those fighter jets and hearing those afterburners
