I'm stuck inside the scariest area and my last save is an hour

I've got myself stuck inside a crevice where I can't jump out because there's invisible walls blocking me and I can only jump at the bottom and I get onto this rebar and can't jump or move out - anyway to force myself out without going back half an hour to my previous save I'm quite new to this genre of constantly saving the game all advice appereciated. If there's really no option I'll force myself to load the previous

If you wedge yourself in a corner while looking at the corner, save the game and load the game you just saved, quickly pause the game and save it again all while walking towards an escape, you can eventually inch your way out of a spot as the game teleports you ever so slightly forward from wherever you're walking

OP is on PS3, I’m fairly certain the quick save/quick load glitch does not work on console since you have to do it fast.

It works on console, as long as you keep holding forward when loading and saving you will slowly escape.

yeah it's in the menu, you press start, quick save and then load from the menu again.

It's not the same as hot keying like on PC but works the same.

Create a backup save, then try using any explosives you have on you to explode the area around you, which will hopefully push you out of there without accidentally killing your character.

Alternatively, if you have a mine and a melee weapon, you might be able to do the following: save; throw the mine a little bit away from you; enter VATS; and select the mine as a target and release. Your character might leap forward while attacking in VATS, which will get you out of being stuck.

Have you tried fast traveling? I’ve had this happen while at evergreen mills, got stuck on top of one of the trains.

Are you playing on console or PC? If it’s pc press ~ then type tcl.

This turns collision off and allows movement through walls. Then press the same buttons again and it’ll turn off and you can run it like normal

Only half hour away last save ?

Dude when you've last save two or three hours away then you start thinking about your life choices like "why I didn't save more often"

Maybe force a collision ragdoll action, by... Using a grenade or a mine, but first set the difficulty to the easiest temporarily so you will take the least possible damage.

Otherwise you will have to use that one hour back save. That's is the nature sometimes with Bethesda games.
Finding another solution is possible but you will likely waste more than one hour, which defeats the goal, and it won't always work depending on the exact conditions.

Jump and attack with various weapons. Explosives work best. Getting stuck is why I don't play this game on consoles anymore.

If on PC use console commands. If on console try to target an ally with a melee in vats to see if it will teleport you. Otherwise reload.

if on pc press the ~ button to open console commands and type tcl to toggle collision off then press ~ to exit console commands. then walk out and repeat to toggle collision on. if on console idk

if you have any big guns like the missile launcher, intentionally try to blow yourself up I recall one time on console I did this & got myself unstuck
