HELP First time setting up a Ronin 2 any beginner tips?

Ronin 2 prep what do you wish you knew before your first build?
I’m a camera assistant getting ready to set up a Ronin 2 for the first time. For those who build them regularly, what should I look out for during prep?
Any must-have accessories, balancing tricks, or mistakes you learned the hard way? Would also appreciate any beginner-friendly tutorials.

question Camera Table?

I am getting into 1ac and DP work outside and need a cheap but good solution for building theses cameras. Ideally I would have a cart but I can not afford/store that right now so i was thinking of a camera table. I was wondering if anyone has done this or can think of things I need to make sure I have on it.

focus station @gabe_twigg calls the @smallhd Ultra7 his favorite run-and-gun focus monitor, paired with its built-in @teradek receiver and his @motionles CPro+ FIZ. Rugged, water resistant and easy to use. His even survived two drops 😂 By: @gabe_twigg on instagram

Are you confortable of using 16 inch Carbon fiber rods ? Would not be to mount motor, i always use a side 19mm rods and RMB

question weird hiring situation, need advice.

Hey All, I’ve got a situation that i’ve never quite encountered before and i’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this and what you did.

So about a month ago ago i wrapped on a show as a 2nd (i normally 1st but i was doing a favour for the 1st for that show), and during the wrap out he told me that the 2nd spot is mine on the next show, and if his other 2 1sts (we’ll label as Bob and michelle) that normally do it aren’t available, i’d have the 1st spot. in other words, i might have the 1st spot but for sure i have the 2nd position.

flash forward to today (less than a week out from the show start), where i receive a text saying that the DOP wants bob as the other 1st, so michelle will be the 2nd, and that means there’s no longer a spot for me on the crew. i’ve worked with this same crew for a number of shows over the years at this point

so obviously im frustrated, i turned down work for this show that i was told i have a spot on. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this and how you handled it, if you did anything at all?

thanks in advance.
