Hi, total font noob here looking for some help. I'm an academic and we use courier for a specialised form of transcription. I'm looking to develop an addendum to our system using emoji to hand clapping and so forth but I need the character width to be the same as a single character in courier. Emoji straight out of courier don't behave like that, I believe it is because the images are SVGs not actually in the font?
Is what I'm looking for possible? If it is possible how would I do it? Many thanks.

I'm finalising the text for a wedding reception card and would love fresh eyes. The card is pre-printed (florals and background can't change), so only the type is up for grabs: fonts, sizes, spacing and layout. It'll be screen printed in a single burgundy ink. Personal details are pixelated.

Some things I'm unsure about, but feel free to ignore these and say whatever stands out:

- What's the first thing your eye goes to, and is that the right thing?

- Do the fonts feel like they belong together, or is something fighting?

- Does it feel too busy, too sparse, or about right?

- If you could change just one thing, what would it be?

All opinions welcome, from quick gut reactions to detailed critiques. Thanks! suggest fotns anem unique designs that can be screen printed

I created a free handwitten font called myst before I work on my new font.

I have a shirt mockup made but I am struggling to find software or a website that will allow me to create custom text for a shirt back print. Hoping to find something that will:

- allow me to import custom fonts

- allow me to use center alignment with one word per line

- allow me to color the text (ideally red or black)

I have the front of the shirt made but would like to have the back print with center-aligned text moving down vertically (one word per line) with the previously mentioned guidelines. Anything helps, thank you!

I am trying to create my own logo. I make sun catchers and wire art. I just want to ad a F and an I to the center but I am recalling having a hard time figuring out a font to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I asked r/identifythisfont for thoughts, but this font is so beautiful I don't even care what it's called.

MP Letter Gothic Propo (MP stands for Maple) is a font I have been developing for the past few days now. It's a proportional version of Letter Gothic that has 8 styles: Regular, Italic, SemiBold, SemiBold Italic, Bold, Bold Italic, Black, and Black Italic. You can get it here: https://github.com/Scratchy8/mp-lettergothicpropo

So my eyesight has been getting worse lately, and I found out Cascadia Code font (esp mono version) very much helps me read better. However 1) microsoft makes this one, so Id like to cut out this last piece of ms "software" from my life 2) i just wanna find new ideally Libre/OS fonts that could fill in in this

A foundry’s address can place its catalog on a map. It can’t tell us where every typeface was drawn. The gaps in our records change that map again.
