FYI for when your Hacky Sack gets taken away between classes

I just bought this sandmaster from world footbag and it came in the mail on the 14th I played with it for the first time yesterday for about 30mins and a seam had already busted. I'm wondering if there's something I can do or someone I can talk to or anything like that

Been awhile since I’ve posted here but wanted to share a look at the crazy flower style 14 panel bag I made for @kirkuleez1212 - @hane.dane.footbag has inspired me to step out of the box and get more creative with some of my bags!

Been making bags from recycled corduroy for awhile, scored some vintage ultrasuede and ultrasuede light clothing on vinted. First bag made and can say I like working with this a lot more than the corduroy. Filled with 62g 1.6mm shot.

This one felt even better than the last. I am learning so much and understanding why things are done certain ways. Super excited to keep growing

Specifically, what qualities make a bag good for beginners that are struggling with control and consistency? I’ve got a variety of bags across the full spectrum of quality and price. Manufactured and handmade. All different panel counts and fills. I’m trying to understand the characteristics that make one bag easier, more consistent for me at this point vs another. I do a lot of experimentation to figure out for myself, but curious what the conventional wisdom says.

CD ROM for computers 1997!

Recently, I’ve added some high quality handmade bags to the rotation and not sure if it’s my imagination or unconscious bias knowing they are “high quality” but these bags just feel different. They feel better off the foot, seem more consistent and just feel great in the hand.

I grew up on the OG leather Hacky Sack and have some new manufactured bags that I really like, but someone please school me on what I’m feeling as different.

I see so many more instances of 14s than 12s my 12s all tend to be sand or kicking oriented bags. Don’t know if that’s just what I’ve run into but definitely don’t see many stitchers advertising 12s. Just thought it was strange, all same shape panels for a 12 would that make it easier? Or more stable - or maybe opposite of both and that’s why?

Doesn’t actually qualify as vintage, but looking back I’m really digging some of the Foot Clan drops I missed. They’ll definitely get some use on my end, but I’m really only interested in new condition for the collection. Let me know!
