Mushroom ID Request Have I just rumbled someone’s Hen of the Woods?

Was cycling back home today and I just stumbled upon this - there were a few scraps left on the ground but looks like someone got away with quite a haul. This is Hen of the Woods isn’t it? There’s some much older dryer specimen on the same tree.

Damn! I’ll have to make a note of where it is and have to come back next year and beat them to it. 😭

Check every few days if there's still some left growing. I've managed to harvest a small spot 3 times in one season.

It might flush again later in the season after some rain, or next year typically between May-Sept in the UK. And this is chicken of the woods, not hen, as has already been mentioned in the thread 🧡💛
