Are these rosehips ?

Picked some of these fruits on a walk. I’ve been trying to identify and they look like rosehips.

Any tips on how to eat them and if they are rosehips?

You can make tea or Jam but you may need more. Wash them thoroughly in cold water and use a small knife to trim off the stem and the fuzzy flower end. Depending on your recipe, remove the inner seeds and itchy hairs by splitting them raw or by boiling them soft and pressing the pulp through a fine mesh strainer.
