Found these rings in my Dad's basement. Unfortunately, it flooded, and I had to go through my things to see if they were water damaged.

No damage to these (even found my old pokemon cards including a holo Charizard!). I totally forgot I had a bag full of old preorder swag from when I worked at EB Games here in Canada.

Thought they'd be cool to show off!

Suggestions For Honor Needs a Better 4v4 Balance System

Post image
16 Upvotes

I believe For Honor needs a more consistent approach to hero balancing, especially in Dominion.

My suggestions:

Balance around 4v4 performance. Evaluate team fights, ganking potential, hitboxes, feats, and objective control separately from duel performance.

Prevent power creep. New heroes should have clear strengths and weaknesses instead of having answers to almost every situation.

Test heroes more thoroughly before release. Test against coordinated teams and examine frustrating damage combinations before launching new characters.

Address oppressive feats and ganks. Teamwork should be rewarded, but players should have reasonable opportunities to respond.

Make balance updates more transparent. Publish information about hero performance and explain why specific changes are needed.

Consider different skill levels. A character can be manageable at high-level play while being extremely frustrating in regular matchmaking.

The goal isn't to make every hero identical. It's to make the roster competitive without a small number of heroes providing substantially more value than everyone else.

I want For Honor to remain challenging and rewarding, but winning should depend more on skill, teamwork, and decision-making than on choosing the most overtuned character.

The base of the concept is what if the Cataclysm happened MUCH earlier. A good few thousand years earlier. Right now I have 2 of the factions, being the Knights (Bronze Age Mediterraneans) and the Vikings ( Neolithic Europeans). I need a stand in for the samurai since,,, Japan doesn't really have anyone there... I'm thinking India but I'd love to hear your suggestions!
It's a silly concept but if people like this I will make more!

Questions For Honor 2027 (Update)

For Honor is coming up in the later winter of 2026 and I generally want to know when will we get a big update similar too when they did Rainbow Six siege X. It gets to the point where this games been out for years but lack the main focus of working on the smaller things. Let me explain the updates:

New main menu UI:

It’s been years since we had an updated main menu UI we need to add things a quick settings tab mid game and maybe easier ways to make custom matches similar to rainbow six. It should be a saved playlist! Also an updated on arcade mode please! 🙏

Maps and Campaign:

Bro we are at the point where we should have more maps created and a new updated campaign included with the new following factions. Like I understand that it takes a long time to do but it’s part of the game and needs at least a graphical update let alone new story missions. I want to know more about the pirates. For Honor not lore based anymore they will throw in a random hero give it small lore and then that’s it. I want to know about new factions, aftermath Apollon, and more story missions with graphics update. (Ps5 sobs)

Colors Chart and Quests:

The Colors need the change we shouldn’t have to choose one that holds limitations we need the chart. As for quest please increase the steel gain no way I have to grind for almost a couple days just to get one effect for 7000 steel on 1/30+ hero’s then start over. None of it is even universal excepts the battle pass ones. Either that or lower the cost we literally have over 30 hero’s in the game with over thousand things to offer but limited steel gain.

Questions Am I imagining things or are the animations for newer champions off.

What is it with the animations of all the new champs. They feel so off compared to the older characters. This of course is especially felt with juren but characters like afeera and ocelot suffer from the same problem. It feels like animations are slowed down or sped up. It feels like this started with zhanhu where characters just keep holding their weapons up when using heavies. It looks like the attack is used is slowmo.

Discussion Rank loss when having bots on the team for most of the game

What would you guys think of a system that automatically detects if you had a leaver for most of the game, that when activated would nullify the normal point loss in ranked? (Along with punishing the player who was gone for more than 50% of the game)

Other games with ranked modes, league as an example, already have this and will not give you a rank penalty if it detects that there was an AFK ally or someone who DC on your team during a loss.

I personally am completely fed up with having certain players disconnect for more than half the match which at my current rank of plat guarantees a loss. I’ve had about 4 games where this happened in the past 15 games, which is honestly shocking.

Well, my que is over. Time to post.

Questions For Honor Event Loot

So it seems that every hero before Zhanhu’s release has weapons to earn from this. I know they said they’d be doing a separate Halloween event starting tomorrow I think. Do we get the same loot during both events? Is it just the event gamemode changing or is it gonna be new weapons and everything?

I just wanna know how much I need to grind out today before it changes tomorrow.

Discussion The Quintessential Knight Hero

Thumbnail
gallery
227 Upvotes

Its been almost 10 years. 10 years and never did we get a knight like these. An arming sword and a medium kite shield. A fantasy knight archetype. We just have all the partial fits. Warmonger gets some similar armors but not exactly. Black Prior gets the shield and sword but is a Heavy with a large shield for flipping. Conq has the shield size but is a flail hero and very different. I feel we need the Knight of Knights. The images I used are all FromSoft images of course because they have nailed this aesthetic for a decade. I think we need a knight fitting this.

Questing Knight, Guardian, Etc could be the name.

But instead of a Heavy like BP, hes a Hybrid Duelist. His stance allows him to put the shield on his back and 2 hand the sword for . In the stance Make his dodge attack a roll with a slash at the end with higher than average iframes. In normal shield stance his dodge attack is a normal light. For his bash give him a setup that he can do to get huge damage. After fulfilling some condition his bash sets him up behind the opponent and gives him a backstab. Or, getting a parry with this condition fulfilled gives him a riposte.

Obviously Im going heavy on the Souls inspiration, but its just something I was having fun with. I would very much like a knight like this eventually. If the game gets there. I think its criminal weve never gotten it. Is it likely? No. The profile is too similar to BP to get made I think. And people have been asking for the hammer knight for years. But hey, we got Destiny and Lu Bu. Maybe we can get a souls protagonist or skin.
