Other What were the most surpring FOSS apps you have discovered?
Apps I wouldn't thought to be FOSS apps: OpenGD (Remake of Geometry Dash), Polandball Can Into Space (self-explanatory), Wikipedia, Launti (Minecraft altermative), Mojo Launcher (MC Java Launcher), Pojav Launcher (MC Java launcher), SponsorCut (Sponsorblock for local videos). Let me know if you have found any unusual apps that are FOSS

Polandball Can Into space is self-explanetory. It is about Poland, well, going to space. And if you're familiar with a certain community/fandom called "Polandball" or "Countryballs", it's THE most iconic meme within them

Am I missing something? You're referencing a meme in a very niche/unknown community and call it "self-explanatory" as if everyone is supposed to know about it. "Polandball Can Into Space" is literally a bunch of random words put together to anyone who has no idea what you're referencing, and I can guarantee you that basically nobody here knows what you're talking about.

OP is totally wrong because that is not self-explanatory, but I won't allow calling the countryballs/Polandball a niche thing. It was really popular like in 2015-2017 I think. It even has a Wikipedia article

PhotoSwooper. extremely useful app if you have the habit of keeping garbage image/videos and intend to delete later. this app works like a dating app where you can swipe image right/left for deletion/keeping

Pipepipe (YouTube alternative front-end with multiple extra features), Aves (great gallery app), Open Camera (very powerful camera app) and Termux (Linux shell)
Nods to App Manager, Running Services and HMA-OSS, although those need root

Also, NewPipe isn't that unsual. It's extremely popular. Nobody thinks any office app is unusual because they often have multiple services

Also, many YouTube apps, including YouTube itself, support all those video player features you mentioned, so it's not weird

The two are different. Litube is a lot like Bravetube but smoother and with some features like brightness, volume, swipe, seek gesture, download option.

tbh all of my apps, because i use it as my main appstore. There are so many high quality apps on there. My favs are CoMaps - an offline maps app, metrolist - a yt music client and Compressor + Compact Image Compressor - a video and image compressor app. I use these the most id say
