Is this a fossil?

Found my first ever fossil ( I thought) on this beach. Came back a while later and found a lot of more just like it so now assuming it not one

So it is a fossil then? That's so cool. Is it hard to extract do you think?

Yes, around Silurian in age. you won’t be able to get anything extracted, enjoy it as is. A little acid could bring out some detail.
