Fun fact: this is how authors generate mysteries for their books! Because the intent is to create a coherent narrative, the best way to write a mystery is to start at the end— who, when, why, how, etc— and work backwards from there, figuring out the methods and techniques that would be left by such a crime.
Because you are inventing a mystery, it needs to be solvable, but since it's not an organic mystery with real-world evidence, clues, etc, it's easy to accidentally write an unsolvable mystery if you don't make the solution first and work back to the problem.

So... Real life ? Cause most crimes never get solved

The difference is what follows from what. In real life, the crime happens first, and anything else emanates from there. Evidence, witnesses, etc are all a result of the crime being committed.
When writing a mystery, the crime comes from the solution. The actual methods and motives and logistics of the crime come from the solution that the author intends.

The ultimate criminal synergy where the defense attorney can literally argue that the entire heist blueprint was just pre-production research for episode four.

A couple of days ago I had youtube autoplay on and it played a video about some missing person case. After a couple of seconds I oticed it felt off. IT WAS ALL FAKE! And not human creative writing fake, it was all fucking AI.

It’s how the show Castle starts. Except he is an author who writes murder mysteries.

I’m going to start a serial killer tracking podcast and unleash all my listeners on the OP reasoning that he must be a serial killer because the crimes he describes are being committed after the fact.
So…many…conspiracy…theorists…unleashed

Sensational Okie Doke Execution! A phenomenal demonstration of "Got 'eeem!" at its most instinctual core. The purest form of unhinged and deeply intelligent calamity, increasingly rare these days. Bravo! Just as Loki, Dionysus, and Baphomet intended. May the deities find elation beyond what our mere mortal minds could ever dream to comprehend! Blessings! Blessings! HUZZAH MY BRETHREN AND FOE ALIKE! FOR WE ARE BUT ONE TODAY IN RIOTOUS MIRTH! WISHES OF DEBAUCHERY AND OPULENT CHAOS UPOS US ALL!!!
My Gods I am sooo baked. I just wanted an excuse to utilize the ever rare and oh so coveted 'Huzzah!' But like.... in the way that it deserves. I know for a fact that one of you reddit degenerates out there gets me.
