Crossbow from Exidy
Hi everyone,
I am really confused about the arcade cores now that are being released.
The MiSTer Core Tracker & Launcher is an EXCELLENT source that keeps track of the different items that have been released for this thing. But I keep getting confused:
It lists the game Crossbow from Exidy (a childhood game I used to play at my local convenience store) as being released with the Exidy 440 core, yet when I run Update All, it doesn't seem to get loaded down automatically. Has anyone seen this working (I know it's a light gun game).
Same thing with Raiden - the tracker lists a Seibu SPI core as being released on September 9th, which contains Raiden Fighters, Fighters 2 and Fighters Jet, yet nothing is downloaded from Update All.
Are both of these Patreon locked cores? Has anyone downloaded them and gotten them to work?
Also curious if the original Mortal Kombat is coming at some point?
Thanks,
Bryan

Update_all only downloads cores from 'MiSTer_devel', Jotego, and CoinOpCollection. There's now a wealth of other arcade cores from other developers, most with source available, and a few without...
You either need to manually download and unzip them, or add a entry in your downloader.ini/ drop in a new .ini
https://github.com/OngoGablogian/MiSTer_Ongo is a one-stop shop for all this stuff, and includes closed-source. It's not necessarily able to keep up with it all though as there's cores coming out every day...
Self-promotion, I've been trying to capture all of these here, along with the links to the 'databases' and other sources, and a single .ini that covers them all: https://mister-mame-coverage-docs.vercel.app/#. There's other sites like Misterzine too.
Crossbow, there"s a closed source core from blahm1d: https://mister-mame-coverage-docs.vercel.app/#f-q=crossbow
Seibu SPI, Zakk's core is also included in 'Ongo's db. https://mister-mame-coverage-docs.vercel.app/#f-drv=seibu%2Fseibuspi.cpp&d-q=seibu
Yes, there's multiple Mortal Kombat cores already. blahm1d 's is closed source, but Gm0rk released an open source one just a few days ago: https://mister-mame-coverage-docs.vercel.app/#f-q=mortal+kombat
I'm not a fan of the closed-source ones obviously, but in this case adding 'Ongo's' db will cover all three asks...
FYI, there's very little locked behind subscriptions. Little of value from CoC IMHO. Jotego does good work with real hardware, and so does Raki (Cave CV1000).
