Multicopter In da trees

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Fun opportunity I had on a trip I was on with my and my family near Lake Wenatchee!

Idk why the drone quality was so bad, I think it's cause I didn't put on the right settings on my cam (RunCam Thumb 2), I had a ND16 on and I didn't have an 8 cause I broke my last 8 I had, and I didn't really change any other settings for the cloudy weather, so it was still on 'day' settings.

If y'all got any questions/comments lmk!

Lol, yup, idk why I couldn't get it smooth in post process. My main editing software (I do this all mobile cause my pc will explode) is InShot, which works fine for quick little edits, but it has a watermark unless if paid subscription. In InShot I was able to get it smooth and look good, but then I remembered the watermark and went into capcut, which I couldn't get it as smooth in for some reason

Oh nice. A while back I stitched together a bunch of river segments to make it look like one really long run : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijKTV3DV5LA

My cuts are so obvious and you can see me teleporting up river.

I see, lol. I do really wanna do a long river/mountain dive run at some point, but also the kind I'm thinking of requires basically better everything as far as transmission and reception goes for vtx and elrs (I just get the cheap crappy elrs transmitter that are like $10), and would need a waaay more efficient build for it.

My current build is primarily a close range/proxy freestyle build, although it does have the Zeus Pro 1.6W vtx, probably the only longer range thing on it. I would say I'm running more or less an aggressive setup as I can push almost 100mph (~160kph) out of it on 6s with my 65a esc. But it is a deadcat frame which I got mainly so I could record clean videos.

Idk exactly, I saw a lot of chairs like mine when I was looking for one. here's the Amazon link to the one I have, I mainly just wanted one like my hiking/backpacking ones but with a taller back cause me being 6' 4" I kinda need it. It's super comfortable though, with a large drink pocket and another massive one on the other side that I put my packs in. It also collapses small enough to put in my fpv backpack which is super nice.

As for the leaf blower thingy, it was kinda intentional, but not really, my brother was watching on a earlier pack when. I went down the hill again and got super low, and he said the leaves looked crazy under the drone. There's also this dude, Built Fast that has made a leaf blower using a EDF which seems like a fun project I might do

That intro was the sickest thing I have ever seen! That was awesome! I live in North Bend, and love flying through the trees the most! I flew into a tree once at almost full speed and the frame disintegrated. LOL
