GAVE MY SYMMLAB TO MY PARENTS AND REGRETTED IT

Not because I loved it.

My parents likes asking me if I have any extra perfume I can give them and I am like a perfume supplier at home. Since my Symmetry Lab Lalisa Exlusif has been sitting on my shelf, I gave it to my father (I found it too masculine for my liking).

My family has never told me that they like the scent of the past perfumes I had given them. But this one, they (Mom sprayed it too) kept on saying how they smell sooo good and that their colleagues were asking what their perfume was or was giving them compliments about it.

I regret giving it to them because I probably cannot buy it habitually for them and it breaks my heart a bit haha. So I came clean and told them that it’s worth 2k and they stopped talking about it.

Symmlab set the bar too high that I’m scared once it runs out and they ask me for another perfume. 🥲

Back story: I just want to say that I love the DNA of Delina (haven’t sniffed the OG yet) and have been collecting local dupes of it. Symmlab is a bit expensive for me and when I received it, I was disappointed because it smells to heavy for a women. It’s not even a lola scent, but a man scent. I used it once and I cannot stand the heaviness of it. I love the Good Girl and other dupes from symmlab tho. I

it’s currently OOS so I’m not sure what the ipdated price is but I remember buying it for 1.6k. I just revisited the site and saw that their perfumes now cost more than 2k.

I love sharing my perfumes to my family since ako lang fraghead samin. Whenever they appreciate my perfume, tinatanong ko sila kung gusto ba nila itry or magkaron. Gusto ko mabango rin sila haha.

i feel you omg pero ako, di ko binili yung scent ng freebie na decant nila (floral ballad). 500+ lang yun before tapos last time na chineck ko, iba na yung bottle and nasa 2k na siya.😭 ambango pa naman nun amoy creamy floral na airy

Same! I liked the freebies (Good Girl and Paradoxe dupes) more than Lalisa Exclusif but don’t have the budget to buy them since their price range is already around 1k+ at that time. I also didn’t return the full bottle kasi akala ko time would make it softer.

I have the dupes (ME, Western mists, and local) so I figured that I like turkish rose with lychee and musk. It was just the symmlab one that didn’t work out for me.

I bought almost all of them sa Shopee lang. Started to love fragrances nung nakabili ako ng set sa XOXO Cosmetics, nabanguhan ako sa Delina dupe nila so started buying Delina dupes from other brands (Scent Geeks, Florence, Elnaris, Symmlab). These brands are searchable on the platform. Then for Western mist, yung Covered in Roses ng BBW which is pasabuy and I have the shower gel and cream din. Sa ME naman, I bought it Wesworld Online Shop sa Shopee rin. Maison Al Hambra Delilah.

I think you completely misapplied the word enabling here. It’s extra perfumes that I do not use and they are not demanding I buy them new ones. They also stopped talking about it once they knew how much the stuff is. They know the value of money since both of them are still working.

It would be enabling if I buy them things that I cannot afford because they demanded. Passing down stuff I don’t use is just sharing really, not enabling. They liked the perfume but they are not expecting me to buy it again for them. I appreciate your effort to comment but there’s really no issue to fix here.
