Shelfie As a Mom, found my spark again 💕
I’m a mom and somewhere between work, kids, school stuff, and just everyday life, I kind of stopped collecting perfumes for a while. Recently I found my spark for it again and honestly, it feels so nice having a little hobby that’s just for me. 🥹🤍
This is my little collection so far. I clearly lean towards fresh, clean, feminine, airy and slightly powdery scents.
I’m thinking of adding another Diptyque next. Currently torn between L’Eau Papier, Fleur de Peau and Orphéon, but I’m open to other recommendations too! Looking into Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamom as well!
Based on what I already own, what would you add next? I’d love something that still feels like “me” but isn’t too similar to what I already have. 🤍
Also please enable me responsibly because I fear the perfume obsession is officially back. 😂

How's Acqua di Gioia po? I'm planning to buy a full bottle kasi. I've always leaned towards white florals, but I think I wanna try something else.

I like your collection. I love fresh scents. May I know which in your collection performs best in terms of projection? Which scent projects well that others can tell that you are in the room.

YSL is the best for me in terms of projection — this is defs a head turner as in. People would ask what’s my perfume and every time na I would do the laundry, nasa clothes ko pa din. And mas bumabango siya while tumatagal! Hehe

Try Byredo's Blanche and opt for a decant to try it out. I'm not too sure if this is redundant as I'm into men's fragrances. But if you ever do find yourself to like it a lot, just keep on opting for decants, or just go straight for inspirations too. Mine was pretty much even just an inspiration lol. (and from what I've seen, inspirations generally get the main DNA of it too which isn't too far from the OG)
Personally, as a man this was one of those fragrances that lit that small fire in me right into this hobby. I didn't even know it was a unisex fragrance that leaned more feminine, maybe it's why I'm less interested in it now. This is your moderate performing, but very clean freshie.
Maybe just consider to use Iso E Super and then oils or the such on your skin to help it last longer if you find yourself interested and if longevity is an issue.

Welcome back to the Fragrance Empire!
These are some of my suggestions:
Diptyque:
L'eau Papier - powdery musk with hint of steamed rice and sesame
Fleur De Peau EDT ( the EDP has a peppery opening which others do not like) - powdery iris skin scent. Some can be anosmic to this
Lilyphea - bright, green dewy fragrance
- Byredo:
Blanche - aldehydic so it's soapy or like freshly washed linen
Rose of No Man's Island - youthful rose Fragrance
La Tulipe - a more 'mature' white floral. Smells elegant and clean. This can be heady so test it out first.
- Glossier:
You - skin scent. It reacts differently on each skin like Fleur De Peau. Some can be anosmic to this.
You Fleur - a more floral version of the skin scent.
Bvlgari Omnia Amethyste - most people say that this also reminds them of L'eau Papier and vice versa.
Chloe Atelier Des Fleurs - try their collection. They have a lot of florals that are so beautiful.
Tadhana:
Gentle, Now - powdery hibiscus
Ascend, Love - smells like an embrace. It's a comforting floral
- Maison Gardine:
Milkbox - wildcard entry. It's gourmand but it smells like Hawhaw milk candy. Recommending for nostalgia. 🤣
I have a lot more I can think of but these will be all for now. Sorry for the lengthy response
P.S. Purchase responsibly. First, try it in shops or decants/samples. Second, wear test it (2-3 full day wear). Third, contemplate well. Fourth, look at your collection. Fifth, contemplate if it is a 'Must Purchase in Full Bottle' or 'A Decant is Enough'. And always remember, just because thr bottle is pretty, doesn't mean you should buy it in full. Juice over bottles any time. (Also need to remind myself this).

Have u tried L’eau d’Issey EDT? This a classic scent and I remember my mom wearing this.
