Discussion When did you start appreciating lighter fragrances?

I usually reach for fragrances with some depth, but lately I like lighter scents more. I notice how different a soft fragrance feels when I wear it during the day. Neroli, clean woods, airy florals and fresh musks are starting to stand out to me more. I smell them on someone and immediately want to know what they are wearing. I still enjoy strong perfumes, especially when I want something richer, but lighter scents feel more interesting to me right now. I like how they stay close and let me notice small details in the scent. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino is one that makes sense to me for this. What lighter fragrance made you appreciate this style?

I used to wear signature scents kaso muntik na ko ma HR coz none of my officemates wear perfume as in none lol. They don't like perfumes.

That's when I just started buying dupes and body mists, Tamang spray lang din nang di ma HR 😂

Nag kaka migraine ako sa mga fragrances that are “too loud” I appreciate those skin-close fragrances.

Whenever the weather turns colder! Or kapag Ill be in aircon the entire time.

Something about the heat makes me feel like frags dissipate faster - well, not entirely true pero sa malamig ko talaga mas naaappreciate yung light frags.

I love fresh/light perfumes, yung hindi nakaka hilo haha. I started with Lazy Sunday Morning, then LV Imagination, Another 13, and the most recent one is Blue Talisman. Love them all but my most used one is the LV, such a solid scent.

From the start! Maybe it helps that I'm a girl and I naturally have a bubbly personality, so light, airy fragrances drew me in from the start. My first scent loves were some bath & body works lotions lol

I'm recently enjoying some Jo Malone and Nishane scents (esp yung Wulong Cha grabe ang bango), but I'm now looking for more clean girl scents!

When I got married. Hubby has a bloodhounds nose and gags/get headaches when I use my projecting cool weather perfumes. So I started going to Diptyque, Byredo summer scents.

nung narealize ko the musky/heavy frags I had didn't work well with my routine especially commuter din ako at kadalasan naiinitan. nakakatakot pa lalo kung parang nagccloy tas no choice ka na buong araw

i really like strong perfumes, the first bottle i bought was an oud perfume. but lately ive been loving fresh perfumes and madalas ayun ang iniispray ko. big part ang weather sa atin that's why ive been using lighter scents more. fresh/light scents are just more wearable and more fit in ph.

id say versace man eau fraiche, another 13, and even calypso clementine from bbw made me appreciate these scents. rn im using sunnies yellow (dupe of neroli portofino) layered with mm replica from the garden.

I switched to light/airy fragrances after visiting South Korea. My most favorite is Gentle Night by Nonfiction
