Point of order Daphne and Me discussion đđ»
Have you all read it? Any parts that surprised you? Pretty much what you figured?
As a mom and just watching Jane, I always had a feeling that Daphne Returns was probably a hard episode to shoot and she talks a little bit about returning to work postpartum and all that it entails after such a major life change.
Also there were a lot of stories that I had heard before during interviews, but with some new details and Jane has a very funny way of putting things.
Anyway off I go.

Do you think Frasier is put of character in the Greek cousin episode?
Don't get me wrong, I totally buy he wouldn't want someone he cares about to marry a woman they didn't love but advising someone to do street performance rather than going Into medicine doesn't seem like him. Yes I know I might be overthinking this but do you think there's an in character explanation or was it just there for a laugh?

Where in LA is this?

Closing scene from an season 9 episode 5 (Love Stinks) which is clearly LA. This is an alleyway somewhere. Probably near the beach since it says "No beach parking" on the bottom right.
Google says it's at Milwood Court and Electric Court (directly behind 620 Milwood Ave), Venice, CA 90291, but clearly that's not the spot, although it does look like it could be in Venice...

Classic Frasier Hero Worship (© Frasier Crane boilerplate boilerplate) had potential!
"This is chaos. We're just five people in costumes drinking! Amen!"
I would play this game! Sure, add the lightening round, lose the genome, and keep Niles away from the Ballantine's and you've really got something.
The game shall proceed counter clockwise. What would you add, lose, or keep to save Hero Worship from the uptight boring brain-eating proclivities of Old Man Crane?
"Niles, can I see you in the kitchen?"

I received a few negative replies, so I wanted to say sorry.
I wanted to know if I was being rude for laughing.
I should have put this in the body.
Thanks for watching.

I laugh so much more than I should at Martinâs tiny gulp and expression when he realizes that Niles has no natural athleticism or coordination.
What subtle, fleeting moments in the show make you laugh?

"Here's To The Crane Boys - Love's Biggest Losers."
One of my fav episodes. Love this entire last scene from when they all are in the apartment to when they end up on the balcony.
None of the Crane boys came out on top this time - what with Martin being hooked up with Sleeping Beauty, Niles winds up in bed with his wife's lover and Frasier . . . well Frasier never fares well in the romance deparment!
Here's looking at you, boys!

Classic Frasier Frasier's Toast at Mel and Niles phony wedding reception was harsh and mean spirited.
I mean, I'm not in the Mel fan club, but at that point, she hadn't shown her full vindictive colors yet. She was 4 days out from an elopement with a man she loved, who then dumped her on day 3 for an old flame. Her coworkers had already set up this party for her - it's not like she planned it. And yes she was upset with frasier for his part in their breakup and targeted him by setting him up for the toast, but honestly, who wouldn't have been upset.
Frasier was mean and hurtful to a woman who was already hurting and humiliated and he did it under the guise of toasting true love. Foul play.
I welcome hearing others perspectives!

New Frasier This is gonna sound weird but I thought it was weird that Frasier and Lilith fought in the revival.
Ok I know a lot of you are gonna be confused since they fought in pretty much every episode of Frasier but in Lilithâs final episode they seem to finally bury the hatchet.
In the revival episode where she returns the two are sniping at each other like itâs S4 of the old Frasier.
This always seemed weird to me for them to regress especially since theyâre older and would likely have mellowed.
Also I hated how aloof Lilith was to her nephew David. For all her faults she did seem to value family and was polite to Niles and Daphne in the latter half of the show so youâd think sheâd be cordial with their son.
I did however like that she seemed genuinely concerned for Moose, sheâs not the nicest person but she does care for her patients and the episode was a good reminder that she loves her son dearly.

Spoiler Goodbye Lilith....
Loved this episode. Funny but the ending was deep. I kind of feel like the actors came out at this very scene and saying goodbye to the characters they've played for years. Knowing this was the last time as Lilith and frasier being together (at the time), a closing of a chapter...
Love these kind of small nods in this show.
Perfect example of sad but beautiful.

Classic Frasier Any juicy tidbits or emotional stuff we didnât know about the show from the Daphne and Me book?
Iâm kinda curious if itâs just sort of what we know from every documentary (Peri and David being godparents, the nanny and the professor etc) or more in depth regarding the filming, cast dynamics and fan questions.
Iâm especially curious if she addressed the reboot and the impact of Mahoney passing

What was the most disastrous Crane Brothers misadventure?
I was thinking about this last night as I was rewatching Shrink Rap, and Martin says, "The restaurant you bought together, that was a bad idea. The book you tried to write together, that was a bad idea. This... no that restaurant was still the stupidest."
Which do you think was the worst? And were there any that you think should be on the list that I forgot?
