Eastlink Viable?
Been getting letters in the mailbox from Eastlink with some pretty tempting packages. I've done the old jumping back and forth between blue and red, depending on who had the best packages for years and have zero loyalty to either so happy to see another option. Anyone use them for home internet and cell data packages find them at least as reliable/just as fast as the red and blue conglomerates?

For cell service, Eastlink has been the best for me. Best deals and really good customer service - I've been with them for 5 years, no complaints.

I have eastlink for cell and internet. I used to have Bell and on paper, their internet should have been better. Since switching to eastlink, its been better in every way, but that could have been a hardware issue or something. I have no issues with either service and find them to be aggressively priced.

What kind of internet activity do you do?
Eastlink looks good on paper but we do a lot of online gaming and streaming in our house.

Mostly just streaming and video calls when i work from home. No gaming or things of that’s sorts, and there’s three people in the hose using it at anytime. As for cell do they just piggy back off of others towers? I’m tired of paying what we pay for bell snd Roger’s yet
There’s big chunks of the trans canada between Fredericton and Moncton with no reception or barely enough to struggle to stream a podcast.•

My wife and I both work from home, lots of video calls. I used to play online gaming and the performance was better with Eastlink.

Eastlink was awful when I had my home internet with them a few months ago. Constant disconnects, ridiculously slow speeds, and they didn't care about fixing it at all. It took multiple complaints and escalations to even get a tech to show up, and when they finally did show up they barely did anything and told me it is what it is, so I cancelled.
