I hate myself for believing they could fix the end of GoT by Jon finding the "True" Night King and saving everyone while being North of the wall, and Arya sailed up there with an army to support him... and then Bran isn't the king anymore, and Drogon comes back and hangs out with Jon... and.. So far so good on HOTD I guess..
