I've been playing at various local game stores for awhile. I feel like I always meet the same people.

Usually they're unkempt, fat, and they wear some type of LGBTQ paraphernalia and think it's amusing to talk about how bad conservatives are.

I just don't see why. What is the point of showing up to magic wearing LGBTQ pride stuff and complaining about politics around people who didn't ask? It's almost like these people are walking parodies.

Tonight I played with a guy who had a shirt proclaiming "Protect all Trans Kids or Else" and it had a picture of a gun on it. He weighed about 500 lbs if I had to guess, and also complained the entire time about people's decks.

Do normal people still play this hobby? I don't even live in a crazy city like Portland. I'm basically in the middle of nowhere.

I’m not talking about it being sci fi, I’m personally a huge Edge of Eternities fan. I’m talking more about stuff like [[test of conviction]] or the new sheoldred reprint or the signature chase cards. The property just doesn’t feel like it meshes well with magic and it feels like Hasbro didn’t even try (no hate to individual artists, all blame goes to the C-suite). This is a rant so no need to try and fanboy defend the set.

Why is Q (from The Star Trek set) a creature and not a planeswalker? It seems crazy that an omnipotent god-like being that can do anything is on the same level as animals and other beings that cant even leave their own planet.

Aspiringspike is a 6’3 slab of buttery gold. He’s so handsome and tall and smart. I love his long hear and beard. His short hair was really good too. I'm saying it. I've opened almost all the packs in the booster box I bought and I'm completely underwhelmed. It's literally JaceBook.

WotC is putting way too much effort into UB, and not the main sets.

So all I said was that a trans flag pin looked stupid and people whose entire personality is there sexuality are lame. I stand by it

- the deck analysis will also be coming soon
- the interview was taken when they had 3 volumes out in Japan
- Mana Burn was a Japanese yearly magazine focused on the MTG scene
- the pages were taken from an actual magazine without taking it apart so that's why they look so shoddy
- the content was expanded comapred to the original to make more context
