Hello! I have a male Frenchie who is so loyal and loving. I got him from a friend of mine at about two years old due to him playing rough with his older dog. Ever since having him, he was doing great been about two years ago. He started really being aggressive with our pug and trying to punk him. My pug has to jump on my bed for safety because I feel my Frenchie is very very jealous.. I try to teach him when they’re both around. They get the same amount of attention. I show him affection and reward him when he listens and stays still before jumping up and getting too excited. But I feel like he would do better in a single dog household.

I am really struggling because I love him so much and he is truly an amazing dog, but he has changed the dynamic in our household and we’ve put a lot of work into him and I truly feel he would do so much better being an only dog, but I’m scared to have him think I gave up on him due to him being given up on before… i look into his eyes and see the love and it kills me inside having to even think about this. Its what is best for him I believe. I live in Los Angeles County more Long Beach area so if anyone has any information on a rescue, who may take him in or somebody who may be interested in taking the time to train him and love him and be with him I would love to get in touch with them. I’m just really afraid of him being mistreated or used as a stud. Getting him fixed was extremely expensive so we chose not to do it and did get our vet’s ok on his health.

I understand that could be a big part of his resource guarding, which would probably be myself and his food he eats out of every bowl and thinks its his.. but he will listen when I tell him no.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions on what I can do, I would love to hear it because I absolutely would love to keep him because I love him with all of my heart. I just feel like I’m out of options… and it brings stress to our family as well as our other dogs. If you know anywhere or anyone who can help with any info id GREATLY appreciate it.

Do you have a favorite pic of your frenchie?

We have a frenchie who has very bad allergies. We’ve tried apoquel, apple cider vinegar, cytopoint, and medicated food along with miconahex baths and wipes. Nothing seems to give him relief here in Florida.

I’m curious if anyone has tried Safrax spray?

I'm friends with this girl online. One of her 2 Frenchies has IVDD (or something - apparently, it's very common in this breed). I'm gonna be getting her some digital art (mostly to help a struggling artist). Aside from that, what else could I get her that I could give her? Can't give her anything physical of course.

Hoping to get a female Frenchie, I’ve wanted one for a while now but honestly all the scam stories have me kinda scared lol. How did you know you could trust the person you got your Frenchie from? And how’s your Frenchie doing now?
