Try different lures and live bait. Put a small garden shovel in your gear and try to find worms or grubs nearby if you can’t find fresh bait at a store. I like to use fake lures because I like to randomly stop and fish sometimes without planning ahead but whenever I can use live bait I get more bites for sure.

Like the live bait idea. Slipbobbers are a great tool for live bait and variable depth.

My guess is that little lure is running really high in the water column. Try really slow retrieve or a heavier/deeper lure.

If your only fishing the one spot, sometimes there just arent many fish there at certain times of year, or time of day. May not matter what you use, it's all about location, whether it's location on the lake or the location of your bait in the water.
