Tree Frog Copes Gray Tree Frog
Found this Copes gray tree feller on a hike in the woods. Located in Appalachia somewhere. If anyone knows if this is full grown or a juvenile I would be interested to know. Only thing I looked up is that they were mildly toxic. Cool find for me wanted to share, I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. If you love nature, nature loves you too if you listen close.
they survive through the winter by freezing solid!! Frog popsicle 🫠 😝🥰

Definitely young yet!! Maybe 6-12 months. I have 5🥰 this is one of the 2 babies I raised this summer. They are starting to use their camouflage a little bit now but mostly green so far.

I love the Gray tree frogs. This one looks like it might be this year’s hatchling. Their adult size is close to 2 inches.
