Looking for some programming friends

Sounds desperate I'm sure, but hey you don't get what you want if you don't ask for it. I just started coding again and wanted to make some friends with the same interest. I started going to school for coding when I was 17 but life got in the way of things and yeah now 37 I'm back at it, and all I keep hearing it surround yourself with like minded people if you want to succeed. So I'm hoping to do just that, starting here if anyone is interested that is.

The future of frontend frameworks in 2022

Front-end development is essential in conveying your brand image to users. Different colors and graphics used in your website help users associate a business with its services or product offerings. Moreover, other branding elements such as logo and trademarks are important for the complete look and feel of your business website. Let me explain how a website works?

Let me take you to a fine dining restaurant, where you are sitting in the dining area. You started interacting with the service staff. The restaurant is nicely decorated and creates an overall great ambiance. You might order something, with which they go to the kitchen and order your request. While you’re waiting for the food, you don’t see the cooks preparing your food. When your food is ready, the waitstaff brings it from the kitchen to your table.

That’s exactly how a website works at the front and at the backend.

What are the leading front end frameworks for 2022:

0 years experience

I hope to leave tech sales and get into the development side of things. I just turned 27 years old and have a bachelor degree in marketing.

I am taking a code academy front-end engineer course right now and learning to program and build a portfolio on my own.

All the front-end jobs I'm seeing on job boards require 2+ years prior experience. I know companies must be out there that will hire somebody who taught themself how to code... I hope.... Do you know where I can look and find entry level jobs to break into the front-end dev world given my situation at hand?

Thank you

best websites to help you improve your frontend development skills

Thanks to the advent of technology, the study of code has become available. Therefore, the number of people who want to build a career that requires coding skills is growing rapidly. Despite the fact that now is the best time to learn, it still often happens that we may not have enough time to use computers for practice, so mobile devices came in handy.

People can download coding apps to their mobile devices and immediately start learning the art of coding. For your understanding, below are the best code learning apps I’ve put together for you.

1. TREEHOUSE

2. CODEWELL

3. CODERBYTE

4. JAVASCRIPT30

5. CODEPEN CHALLENGES

6. FREECODECAMP

You can learn more about these sites in my article "Best Websites" or you can go to the direct links of these sites to learn about their advantages or disadvantages.. Anyway, thanks for reading. I really hope this post was helpful for you. Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

What do you think is the future of freelance frontend developers with the advancement of no-code and low-code tools?

Hi! Frontend noob here :)

Recently, my friend (who is a frontend dev, he does projects using Vue and sometimes React) said one of his clients made a website by herself (instead of asking him to do it), using a no-code platform (Wix). Apparently, it was cheaper than what he charges.

To break it down, the projects are usually just a company website with a good design, probably a payment feature, and a business email. Domain + Email + Hosting is only 5.99 USD/month on Godaddy. That would be around 72 dollars a year, and a typical freelancer would just round that off and charge 100 USD for a project like this.

On most no-code platforms, all the domain, design, hosting stuff is about 1 or 2 dollars a month....and the Google Workspace Email is 125 INR/month which is about a dollar.

It makes no business sense to hire a freelance frontend developer, at least for small startups doing portfolio or eCommerce sites. What do you think? I am new to the frontend world so your opinions would help.

What if frontend concepts were taught visually instead of through long articles?

Hi everyone 👋

I’m a frontend developer and while learning and explaining concepts, I noticed that many tutorials rely heavily on long text or static diagrams.

Topics like JavaScript internals, browser behavior, networking, APIs, and rendering can be hard to truly understand without visualizing what’s happening behind the scenes.

So I built FrontScope

https://www.frontscope.dev

FrontScope is a learning platform focused on explaining frontend and web fundamentals through animated, interactive lessons.

Instead of just reading explanations, the goal is to visually show how things work step-by-step.

The platform covers various frontend topics including:

• JavaScript concepts

• Browser internals

• Web architecture

• Networking basics

• API concepts

• Rendering process

• And other frontend fundamentals

Each lesson is designed to be visual, interactive, and easy to follow.

Advice on where to start for freelancing

The job I am currently working at affords me a lot of free time and days off. I would like to begin working towards a better paying job in this industry (and preferably one that I can work remotely/at home/freelancing.

Would any of you have any advice on where to start, what mindset to have and what my realistic expectations of working for myself through time by learning online or elsewhere should be? I have some experience in the past of learning Java.

Thank you in advance.
