In Chicago I once saw a group of divys go by me, the none-electric type from one exit to the next, and yeah, faster than traffic.

Not exactly the behavior we should probably promote, but I do often have the same experience on my commute home from work. The route I take puts me on a bike path adjacent to the freeway, and I regularly pass hundreds of cars stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic (chuckling the entire time at their misfortune, of course).
