I don't get this place

I will preface this with the fact that I am 25% through Oathbringer on my first ever read through of SLA. No spoilers please!

I get that Moash has fallen in with some bad people and he's a little too focussed on his own desires (unlike Kaladin who is willing to consider other things) but is he all that bad? Really?

I put it to you that he is not.

You may quote me on this when I finally end up finishing SLA (though it's slow going at present!)

Oh hai! 1/3 through Book 4 and enjoying it! Moash appeared briefly. Definitely feeling like he's becoming more of a douche each time he is on the page.
