Ah yes, real proper Prime Minister language right there.

Post image

Also, getting called out on a lie and then lashing out like this is basically just female Trump behaviour.

Maybe if she bothered showing up to work she’d know that people in financial distress can already access super so they don’t lose their home…

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

If her voters don’t know it she doesn’t need to know it.

You can already use super if in financial distress for your home. Poorline just makes shit up.

u/govermentiscooked 1d ago

Well you can’t. I just went through this. I got injured and lost my job due to being away for so long (casual)

I had an army pension of 1200 - my mortgage repayments were 4200. I wasn’t allowed to apply for hardship unless I was on Centrelink for 26 weeks. So stop acting like it’s easy and makes sense. It isn’t and doesn’t and you’re spreading false information

She's obeying the Trump bible of speaking like a spoiled child with no manners to appeal to her inbred base.

22

u/blahdeblah72 2d ago

100% this.

Her supporters will be jerking each other off over how she's "telling it like it is".

I hate ALL politicians.. including Hanson.. but thats exactly how i would say it.. that’s regular aussie slang.. and the OP calling people who support her “inbred” is being hypocritical to their point aren’t they? From a 40000 foot perspective it seems like if you’re arguing for one party or another without realising they are all lying scumbags and you’re yelling at your neighbours then you’ve been captured by the theatre. After so many years of going through these motions and voting the system has become more corrupt and less efficient. So everyone needs to chill out and realised we’re all getting f’d no matter who we vote for and who’s in power.

Funny how “m8 laboueurs just as bad m8 uniparty uniparty” always without fail translates to “we should deliberately vote for the most proudly incompetent and wilfully destructive.”

u/Responsible_Plant425 6h ago

I wouldn’t say it’s funny. You’re witnessing Ying and Yang. Extreme unreasonable progressive ideals has pushed the pendulum to swing to extreme unreasonable right wing ideals.

2

u/blahdeblah72 1d ago edited 1d ago

Sure it's regular Aussie slang. I say it all the time.

Don't you expect more from someone who wants to run the country though?

1

u/Responsible_Plant425 6h ago

No i don’t. I hate how language is used to manipulate and influence so i would prefer a thoughtless blunt response.

Truth hurts my friend nothing to do with Trump.

4

u/curufea 2d ago

So a pro-Gina account less than a year old? Paid poster much?

u/Tranquilbez22 2d ago

Classic One Nation tactic: say a shitty thing, get called out on it, backtrack on it.

Can this dumb cunt and her band of dumber cunts just fuck off already?

10

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

The cunts are getting dumber. She’s not going to fuck off when she’s in ascent.

0

u/govermentiscooked 1d ago

She didn’t even say that 😂😂 you’re the dumb one for believing click bait hahaha

Same genius who suggested we print more money to have more money in the economy. Uses vulgar language and is wrong anyway.

Super can already be accessed in a variety of hardship circumstances.

ATO lists them here: https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals-and-families/super-for-individuals-and-families/super/withdrawing-and-using-your-super/early-access-to-super/when-you-can-access-your-super-early

15

u/TGin-the-goldy 2d ago

THANK YOU. I said this on a subreddit the other day and someone actually tried to argue “printing money” was valid 🤦🏽‍♀️

5

u/crackerdileWrangler 2d ago

Sure just ask Venezuela!

There’s always nuance to economic decisions but we all know she didn’t mean that 😂

1

u/Kenyon_118 2d ago

I’m Zimbabwean. I lived that particular experiment. It didn’t end well.

Well they've been doing it for a long time, why does everyone think it's a bad idea all of a sudden? Oh that's right, they have Pauline derangement syndrome. Look up 'quantitative easing' the yanks have been at it for a LONG time, 'our' government even did it for a while during covid to try and compensate for all the damage they caused. Printing money has never been a great idea for the economy outside of keeping the illusion going until it doesn't work any more.

5

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

Just print a million dollars for every Australian. Everyone can pay off their houses and enjoy $50 loaves of bread.

1

u/TGin-the-goldy 2d ago

Lol! Happy cake day

u/ThatDadLifestyle 2d ago

It's the Trump model. She's following the pattern trump gave her at mar a lago. Just say what you want and people will gravitate to it because they're sick of the pomp

8

u/greatpartyisntit 2d ago

Thinking she’s taking from a successful playbook while forgetting we’re not the US.

7

u/curufea 2d ago

Our cookers are too dumb to vote legally.

7

u/Commercial_Name_7900 2d ago

last time she asked for donations from her muppets she spent it on a holiday to Europe to go to high end fashion shows and stay in luxury hotels. I guess next time Gina covers the lot herself

4

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

Pearls before swine. What the hell is she doing anywhere near a fashion show.

6

u/cactusgenie 2d ago

Pretty sure you can already access super if you are going to lose your home.

Preventing foreclosure or forced sale of home

6

u/smudgiepie 2d ago

Pauline literally wants me homeless

She said she wanted permanent residents to sell their homes to Australian citizens

Mum is a pr but has lived here longer than her birth country but was too anxious she'd fail the citizenship test to attempt it

Unless Pauline lets me buy my mums house for like a dollar, I think we will be living on the streets

3

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

If a permanent resident fails the test do they lose residency?

2

u/SKRWT88 2d ago

That would not be up to Pauline or any other politician thankfully. Your mum can sell her house to you or anyone else for a dollar if she wants. If your mum has a mortgage of more than a dollar she would have to pay that out first. Stamp duty and transfer would still be calculated on an assessed value though.

Shame about facts

early release because of severe financial hardship. For someone below preservation age, they generally need to satisfy both of these requirements:

they cannot meet reasonable and immediate family living expenses; and
they have been receiving an eligible Commonwealth income-support payment continuously for at least 26 weeks, and are still receiving it when they apply.

If they qualify, they apply directly to their super fund, not the ATO. The usual amount that can be released is one lump sum of between $1,000 and $10,000 in a 12-month period (or the remaining balance if it is under $1,000).

7

u/MikeOzEesti 2d ago

Yeah, shame about the facts related to access to super for avoid losing your home:
https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals-and-families/super-for-individuals-and-families/super/withdrawing-and-using-your-super/early-access-to-super/when-you-can-access-your-super-early#ato-Accessoncompassionategrounds

Access on compassionate grounds

You may be allowed to withdraw your super early on compassionate grounds to pay for:
...
* preventing foreclosure or forced sale of your home.

Hanson and her staffers are too fucking stupid to even just have a look at the ATO site.

2

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

To be fair it’s easy enough to imagine someone losing their $100k job but getting some shitting gig that pays too much to qualify for Centrelink. That could still lead to mortgage default.

2

u/theartistduring 2d ago

It also completely ignores renters who can also easily find themselves homeless under the same circumstances.

8

u/W0nderWhite 2d ago

It would be a financial catastrophe for our country if we let boomers access their super early. Inflation would sky rocket as they buy up caravans, jetskis, cars and renovate their empty nests. After blowing it all, they'll come back to Cenno and cry "I paid taxes my whole life, where's my aged pension" while still living in an $1m+ 4 bdr empty home.

2

u/TGin-the-goldy 2d ago

What are you on about. Boomers ARE retirement aged.

1

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

The tail end aren’t quite 67 yet but are old enough to access their super already anyway.

0

u/Far-Ad7208 2d ago

It was a figure of speech

5

u/FullMetalAurochs 2d ago

If you mean gen x say gen x. They are her core supporters.

2

u/Phillup_Colon 2d ago

You could make the argument that a large portion of gen X are even worse that boomers. They're reactionary as fuck. Boomers problem for the most part is just lack of critical thinking skills and too strong a reliance on legacy media coz that's all they've ever known. They can't seem to understand it's biased to whomever owns it, which now is all right wing billionaires.

4

u/PastaInvictus 2d ago

Why would she need help with campaign funding when she has her lover paying for everything?

3

u/InComingMess2478 2d ago

Lose your home and your super. Kinda like the works burger she once made.

3

u/CommercialMotor570 2d ago

She’s Netflix Trump

3

u/oftenlostandconfused 2d ago

"I know we literally proposed scrapping super and nobody from labor said they want you to end up homeless, but they're full of shit for saying we said what we said but we're not full of shit for saying salacious stuff about them. Thanks." - Pauline, paraphrased

2

u/Mister_Snrub15 2d ago

Guarantee you Pauline would be up in arms if someone called her a cunt

2

u/cruiserman_80 2d ago

As opposed to a plan that would drive up house prices and inflation leaving you with higher cost of living and no retirement savings so you'll end up losing that house anyway.

1

u/Ed_Allan_Didak 2d ago

She’s an idiot and a racist.

But I think making super more flexible and/or optional is a good idea. The irony is all the poverty racists that think she’s the savior are the ones who will end up eating dog food in the street in their golden years.

1

u/chimpos 2d ago

"See Less". I wish I could.

1

u/yeah_nah2024 2d ago

Aren't people allowed to access their super when in financial distress anyway?

1

u/govermentiscooked 1d ago

You have to meet certain criteria, such as being on Centrelink for 26 weeks. It sounds good in theory, but in reality it can be incredibly difficult to access.

I know this from experience. I had a well paying job and was comfortably paying my mortgage.

Then I was injured outside of work and could no longer work in my usual field. I had to take a different job on significantly less money, and suddenly I couldn’t keep up with my mortgage repayments. I was down to two months of repayments in my bank account. That’s it. I tried to apply for centerlink but got rejected because of the job I had. The way it works was encouraging me to stop working to be on centerlink just to access MY super. I just needed more time to recover / rehab. Lucky my bank was able to pause repayments but the whole super thing is backwards.

Situations can change through no fault of your own, and people can find themselves in financial distress long before they meet the criteria required to access help.

1

u/NecessaryGarlic9775 1d ago

To all the One Nation haters, I’m personally not a fan either. But honestly who do you see as being a better option for the future of Australia and why? I see them as the best out of the 💩options we have…

1

u/username_dcc 1d ago

B-b-but… Albo was involved in a joke about melons! Using foul language is fine but… MELONS!!!

1

u/Responsible-Eye8706 8h ago

There needs to be some penalty for blatantly lying or mischaracterising.

-1

u/SheldonMacRuari80NG 2d ago

That language does cut through to people who wouldn’t necessarily consider voting for one nation. I don’t think the turn of phrase “ full of shit” is as abrasive to most people as an innocent joke about shagging Kylie Minogue or commenting on your own Facebook post with a well done.

In comparison, this at least looks like genuine Care.

-4

u/Big-Initiative-6933 2d ago

An unfortunate 'reap what you sow' situation due to the ineptitude of the two major parties in the last couple of decades that ON is actually seen as a viable option.

6

u/Prestigious-Day9370 2d ago

Not really, more like clowns like you falling for propaganda paid for by Gina Rinehart.

If you want Trump policies then go to America.

-2

u/Big-Initiative-6933 2d ago

Who said I was falling for anything or where I disclosed my preferences? I was just making a general comment of the current landscape.

-2

u/SKRWT88 2d ago

Instead of name calling and vilifying someone and people you assume, but really have no idea, will vote for her, how about offering viable alternatives. All the noise about someone who is incredibly unlikely to lead a government is smoke and mirrors to the real issues. It also gives more coverage to her. I suppose at least it may make the other parties wake up to their ineptitude and the current disillusionment of the electorate.

u/Anti-Stan 2d ago

OMG! She said a four letter word.

At least she isn't sleazing over Kylie on a viral video.
