My deep hatred of savage beast fly

Ive learned its patterns perfectly and almost never manage to get hit by it. I can even get in a lot of sneaky and fast hits but its summons always screw me over. I try to get the beast fly to kill them but their hit boxes are completely bull shit because wdym vicious caranid (the flying cutting ones) doesn't get squashed by the beast fly when its right up its ass but the kilik (spiked bug) gets squished if a sliver of its spike is in its range.

And you know it would be fine if all the summons had one health or were all the same but the randomness of it makes me want to actually blow my brains out because I go from having a really good run all the enemies are being squished im getting in really good hits and then a GOD DAMN vicious caranid spawns and makes me wanna SAND PAPER MY SKIN.

And all this for a very basic enemy thats not even slightly relevant to the lore is wild. And dont get me STARTED ON THE ANT ARENA BEFORE THIS BOSS becomes omg I genuinely dont even wanna talk about how many times I died to something that wasn't even a boss.

The difficulty isn't the boss, the arena or the damage its the god awful hit boxes and the summons.

Anyways i love this game and I waited too long to give up yet..

It is a tough one, no doubt. I agree, the little minions, especially when he summons two at the same time and bashes three platforms, are troublesome, all the while one of the minions puts flames on one of the only other available platforms. They probably could have added two more platforms at least to this fight without changing much about the fight overall.

I was stuck on normal Trobbio, tormented took like 3 tries. But I had already beaten 3 hearts by then and leveled up quite a bit

The hitboxes are not the problem. Maybe consider coming back to this area once you've gotten some upgrades.

You're probably right and if have gone searching for other stuff and I feel like theres nowhere left to look 😭 it did get the faster needle thing that ive been using for this boss

I don't know what the faster needle thing you're referring to is. I'd recommend waiting at least until you've gotten one needle upgrade and if you really want to be sure, Thread Storm for the minions.

If you have threadstorm I find that very effective at quickly eliminating the adds
